KOLSTER
Ltd. (KOLSTER sp. z o.o.) specialises in manufacturing of
the mechanical and electromechanical equipment for railway
traffic management.
The company has got a lot of experience in this field of activity
as it has managed this business uninterruptedly- under different
names but with continuity of law - since 1945.
The former name of the company was Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Montażowe
KOLSTER (Production and Assembling Enterprise KOLSTER).
The
equipment of railway traffic managing has essential importance
for security of the rail transport; therefore the company
is liable to a duty of the strict control disciplines which
will ensure a high quality of the manufactured products. For
this purpose the company uses an approved system for quality
management which meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
In
the production processes there are realised, in the first
place, machining, plastic forming, heat treatment, welding,
anticorrosive coating, assembling. The universal and modern
equipment enables to manufacture both the products of a regular
offer and the untypical products according to a customer's
documentation.
The
company employs 90 people and a one year's sale is about 3
mln EUR.
KOLSTER
Ltd. is a one-man company of the coffers of the State provided
for privatization.
